Access to the Internet

Most Internet Service Providers (such as Comcast, AT&T, and Windstream) will provide a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for qualifying households. You can find out more about the Affordable Connectivity Program at the FCC's website or by visiting your provider's website.

In 2022 Clay County Commissioners voted to approve an agreement with Comcast to extend broadband service into areas of Clay County that lack internet service (e.g. Clay Hill and Keystone areas). The system will be owned, operated, and maintained by Comcast.  You can find more information about the project through the Board of County Commissioner's website:  https://www.claycountygov.com/community/clay-county-broadband-project
